Summary

In response to the global mental health crisis, founder Ricardo took action, creating MindCheck. This platform offers a comprehensive mental health assessment based on a scientific protocol, delivered entirely via the web.

MindCheck has assisted hundreds of thousands in assessing their mental health, utilizing a powerful platform co-created with us.

Challenge

Initially, they experimented with a combination of off-the-shelf services such as SurveyMonkey, a hosted database, and SendGrid for communication. However, this approach quickly proved cumbersome and costly.

The protocol's complexity posed a challenge. The goal was to allow users to easily navigate the assessment and arrive at a results page guiding them through the results and potential next steps.

An elegant, streamlined, and comprehensive solution was imperative.

Strategy

Discovery sessions took place to unpack the protocol, its complexities and the best approach to systematically decode it as a software/database.

Next, we envisioned the end state and how clients would interact with the results. 

The decision was made to provide a rich dashboard with educational hints.

The delivered solution offers users the option to save their results and take additional assessments, enabling them to compare their progress over time. The web application was developed using no-code solutions.

Outcome

MindCheck has already assisted 300k people, with an average of 10k assessments taken every month.

The team has curated a body of knowledge, making it available within the same portal,
